We want your visit to be as easy and stress free as possible. With your needs in mind, we have put together a set of directions to the Kennard Hotel below:

Bristol, Wells and the South West, A367, A39 or A4

Directions from Wells, Glastonbury and the South West

• Enter the city by the A367 Exeter, the A39 Wells or A4 Bristol.
• Follow the signs for A36 Warminster to take you to the round the right side of the city. (If arriving from Bristol, as you approach the city the A36 is straight ahead at the first set of lights. Do not go left to A4 city centre!!)
• Do not cross the river
• Just keep on following the signs for A36 (Warminster), the river will now always be on your left.
• Turn left at the large roundabout near a church and the County Hotel.
• This will take you by turning left onto Great Pultney Street. At the bottom of this street is a fountain (Laura Place).
• Turn right here into Henrietta Street with the Kennard Hotel on the left.
• Unload on the single yellow line outside the Hotel. As we are one of the city centre Georgian terrace Town Houses, we use the on street-parking scheme. There are plenty of free "Permit Parking" spaces in this area, all around Henrietta Park and the top of Great Pulteney Street. We will provide you with a "Special Pass" (refundable cash deposit of £20) and you can park in these free and unlimited.
