At The Kennard we treat our guests as individuals.

Before you arrive

Should you wish to walk from Bath Spa Train Station, this is a pleasant 10-15 minute level walk through one of the nicest parts of the city. By taxi, it takes 5 minutes and costs approximately £5.

Bristol airport is about 40 minutes’ drive. There is a regular bus service linking the airport to Bath Bus Station every hour which takes 1 hour and 15 minutes and costs £17 return, while a taxi costs £43 to Bath and £38 back to the airport (special rates for our guests if booked directly by us).

Car parking and arrival

In Henrietta Street in front of The Kennard there are 2 spaces with a single yellow line, where our guests can temporarily park to drop off their luggage and receive our Parking Permit (included in the room rate) and instructions on where to park. There are two small steps into the house.

The rooms are located over 5 different floors (ground floor, three floors up, and one floor down).

Please note that the Breakfast Room is on the garden level, one floor down from Reception.

We do not have a lift at The Kennard, but we carry our guests’ luggage to their rooms.

The Bedrooms

Our duvets are filled with goose down and feathers, and both feather and synthetic pillows are provided. Allergy-free pillows and duvets can be requested in advance.

The Breakfast

We offer a wide choice of cooked breakfast catering for most needs. We always stock gluten-free bread and soya and rice milk. Please let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements.

Pets

The Kennard operates a No-Pet Policy. Guide-dogs are accepted.

Evacuation

In the event of evacuation an alarm will sound in every room. If you require assistance for evacuating please notify us on arrival.
