At The Kennard, caring for our guests and our team members is always our top priority. We take immense pride in consistently maintaining high standards of service and hygiene in our property and are proactively implementing additional hygiene procedures and precautions.
As the pandemic continues to recede, we are committed to playing our part to prevent Covid-19 from escalating and we kindly ask our guests do the same and follow Public Health England and UK Government guidelines.
We have put the following actions in place, based on government guidance. Please note, these measures are constantly reviewed and updated.
Limited Contact Check-in
Pre arrival email – Please let us know of your arrival time, any special dietary preferences and your requirement for a parking permit before you arrive. A copy of the Bath city centre map can also be emailed to the guest prior to their arrival.
Paperless check in – All payments for guests stay will be processed prior to guest arrival and a copy of the paid tax invoice will be emailed to the guest.
Contactless card payments will be accepted for incidentals on check out.
Assistance with guests luggage - If guests require assistance with bags, reception will bring bags to their room on a separate trip (wearing gloves) and leave the bags outside the room door for guest to place within their rooms.
Covid Ready Breakfast
Breakfast in the original kitchen of the Georgian house will be served at specific times to honour the social distancing guidelines. Guests are requested to pre-book their breakfast seating time at Reception.
On special request, a breakfast tray can also be delivered to the rooms.
Enhanced Cleaning Processes
All rooms will be sanitised prior to guest arrival.
Additional housekeeping is available on request. Rooms will not be serviced, and staff will not enter your room during your stay unless you request a service. You can also request for clean towels, or other items such as bottled water, tea bags, and milk to be left outside your door.
High touch areas, room keys, parking permits, bathrooms, remote controls and handrails are disinfected and cleaned with a higher frequency.
All loose items such as pens and note pads are in the rooms and toiletries such as cotton wool ear buds are removed to minimize the spread of the virus. They are available on request at Reception.
The reception, honesty bar, breakfast room, garden and other common areas are subject to social distancing guidelines.
As always we are here primarily to ensure that all of our guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay in Bath. However at the moment we are also having to be very aware of the safety of our guests and team members. If we are unable to accommodate a request or are not able to offer a service, we apologize in advance. We will do everything we can to make sure that not only do you find your time in Bath wonderful but also that you stay safe and well.
