At The Kennard, caring for our guests and our team members is always our top priority. We take immense pride in consistently maintaining high standards of service and hygiene in our property and are proactively implementing additional hygiene procedures and precautions.

As the pandemic continues to recede, we are committed to playing our part to prevent Covid-19 from escalating and we kindly ask our guests do the same and follow Public Health England and UK Government guidelines.

We have put the following actions in place, based on government guidance. Please note, these measures are constantly reviewed and updated.

 Limited Contact Check-in

  • Pre arrival email – Please let us know of your arrival time, any special dietary preferences and your requirement for a parking permit before you arrive. A copy of the Bath city centre map can also be emailed to the guest prior to their arrival.

  • Paperless check in – All payments for guests stay will be processed prior to guest arrival and a copy of the paid tax invoice will be emailed to the guest.

  • Contactless card payments will be accepted for incidentals on check out.

Enhanced Cleaning Processes

  • All rooms will be sanitised prior to guest arrival.

  • High touch areas, room keys, parking permits, bathrooms, remote controls and handrails are disinfected and cleaned with a higher frequency.

Social Distancing

  • The reception, honesty bar, breakfast room, garden and other common areas are subject to social distancing guidelines.

As always we are here primarily to ensure that all of our guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay in Bath. However at the moment we are also having to be very aware of the safety of our guests and team members. If we are unable to accommodate a request or are not able to offer a service, we apologize in advance. We will do everything we can to make sure that not only do you find your time in Bath wonderful but also that you stay safe and well.
